International Women’s Day 2025 Assembly
Introducing a new International Women’s Day Assembly designed to celebrate this year’s theme of ‘accelerate action’. Suitable for use with either UKS2 or KS3, this thought-provoking and inspirational assembly delves into gender equality, examining its historical significance and why this International Women’s Day is profoundly important.
We will discuss the courageous, trailblazing women of the past who endured brutal repercussions for their vigilante efforts to secure women’s suffrage, granting them the right to vote. We will reflect on what it would have been like to be a woman at the turn of the 20th century, when much of women’s lives were micromanaged by men, and discuss how the actions of righteous, awe-inspiring women changed history for the better.
Finally, we will reflect on what gender equality means today and why the fight for equality is an ongoing, global responsibility. The assembly incorporates a short video clip as well as interactive elements to keep your students engaged. With all the clips included, the assembly is expected to last approximately 15-20 minutes. The PowerPoint presentation is fully editable, except for the background image.

They will investigate how easy it is to fall for a scam, the common techniques used by scammers and how to spot one. Students will then focus on a growing criminal industry which young people often fall victim to; money laundering. Over 90% of employers admit to screening potential candidates’ social media, so in this lesson students will examine exactly why employers do this, and what they’re looking for. Students will then assess case studies of seven teenagers with questionable or positive social media profiles, giving advice on how they can improve and what should not be posted or should remain private. They will then assess tweets from celebrities and politicians that either made them lose their jobs, or made them lose face in the public eye, investigating why and what we can learn from these.

This brand-new lesson is the third instalment of our progressive First Aid curriculum, which begins in Year 3 and continues through to Year 6, culminating in lessons on life support and CPR.

Developed as part of our enhancement to the primary PSHE scheme of work, this lesson seamlessly fits into our Year 4 module on summer safety, which also includes sun safety and the Water Safety Code.
The lesson begins by recapping prior learning about allergies, which was covered earlier in the year, before focusing on common asthma triggers—some of which can be linked to allergies (allergic asthma). It then introduces key terms, includes a video clip with reflection questions, and features a team-based role-play activity where students create a short, YouTube-style awareness video to explain the key first aid response steps everyone should remember.

How can I reuse this?
New lesson with a focus on how we can be responsible with our personal finances and avoid bad debt. Students will recap on key monetary terms (interest, short-term loans, debt, long-term loans, credit score) before investigating different case studies of young people in financial trouble. Bullying, Gaming, and Group Chats: Why Does It Matter How I Behave Online?
In this 2024 lesson, students will reflect on the importance of treating others with kindness and respect whenever they interact with friends and classmates online. According to OFCOM’s latest research, 55% of 8- to 17-year-olds regularly use online games and apps like WhatsApp to chat with or hang out with friends. However, with the rise of this kind of communication, we are also seeing increasing cases of online bullying in these forums. Sometimes this is a spillover from bullying that takes place in real life, but it can also occur between friends who typically behave respectfully in person. Could also be used in Tutor Time for LKS3 or during anti-bullying week.
We will discuss the importance of treating our online friends with the same level of kindness and respect that we would expect to receive ourselves, both online and in real life. We will also highlight scenarios where children can unknowingly bully their friends online, by taking teasing too far or excluding friends in online gaming situations. Finally, we will discuss strategies for managing online relationships and, where necessary, setting boundaries with friends who behave badly online.
The lesson includes a starter activity that serves as a recap of the previous lesson, a video clip with reflection questions, a set of case studies to discuss, and a plenary task. Everything is editable should you wish to make amendments, but it is also fully resourced and ready to use if you want to hit the ground running. The lesson is best suited to students in Year 6 (UKS2) or possibly Year 7 (LKS3).

All new content for 2025. A selection of 20 brand new lessons; all are either one or two hours long (27 hours total in the bundle). Detailed, differentiated and editable PSHE lessons which meet the latest PSHE new draft guidelines as well as the current 2020 guidelines. This package is a mix of new RSE, Health and Wellbeing and Living in the Wider World lessons, suitable for KS3. Do check the age ranges against the new draft guidance, for example, the condoms lesson would be for Year 9 under the draft guidelines.
These lessons are taken from the new EC Publishing 2024-25 Complete PSHE Package.
Activities are scaffolded, there is a detailed and colourful PowerPoint for each lesson lasting at least one hour, clip tasks with questions and answers, worksheets, signposting to further help agencies and charities, clear outcomes and also literacy, creative and partnered activities.
All lessons are fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.
